Amazon Worldwide Operations Security
Outstanding Contract Security Manager/ Director
Amazon Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) protects Amazon’s people, operations, reputation, and assets by fostering a safe, secure, and resilient end-to-end supply chain that associates and customers value and trust.
WWOS envisions a seamless security ecosystem where expertise, analytics, and technology converge. Through data-driven solutions and end-to-end security measures, we safeguard our supply chain and ensure business continuity while upholding Amazon’s customer promise to be Earth’s most customer-centric company.
WWOS operates as a risk-based organization that prioritizes prevention over intervention. We deploy security controls to detect vulnerabilities before they impact operations. We engineer solutions that reduce theft and fraud across operations and transportation networks. We maintain compliance standards that protect Amazon’s air cargo operations and global supply chain. We leverage technology to optimize, automate, and scale security solutions while challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement. As business enablers, we remove obstacles rather than create them, solving problems end-to-end through cross-functional collaboration.

TAPA EMEA
Outstanding In-House Security Manager/ Director
The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is an industry Association founded in 1997 which helps Manufacturers/Shippers and Logistics Service Providers minimise cargo crime losses in their supply chains and build supply chain resilience.
The European Parliament estimates cargo crime costs businesses over €8.2 billion a year. With over 1,000 member companies, TAPA EMEA has developed industry standards to increase the security of facilities, trucking operations and secure parking locations, as well as for supply chain cybersecurity, all supported by multi-lingual training. The Association’s TIS intelligence database also helps members to see when, where, and how cargo crimes are occurring, the modus operandi used by criminals, and the types of goods they are targeting to help mitigate these threats.
