Outstanding Young Security Professional
The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is an industry Association founded in 1997 which helps Manufacturers/Shippers and Logistics Service Providers minimise cargo crime losses in their supply chains and build supply chain resilience.
The European Parliament estimates cargo crime costs businesses over €8.2 billion a year. With over 1,000 member companies, TAPA EMEA has developed industry standards to increase the security of facilities, trucking operations and secure parking locations, as well as for supply chain cybersecurity, all supported by multi-lingual training. The Association’s TIS intelligence database also helps members to see when, where, and how cargo crimes are occurring, the modus operandi used by criminals, and the types of goods they are targeting to help mitigate these threats.
